Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Chiropodist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized foot care services to patients in various settings such as pediatrics, home care, hospitals, and medical offices. The Chiropodist will play a crucial role in patient care, utilizing their expertise in medical terminology, data collection, and pain management. Responsibilities: - Conduct foot assessments and diagnose foot conditions - Develop and implement treatment plans for patients - Provide foot care services including nail care, orthotics, and wound management - Administer medications as prescribed - Educate patients on proper foot care techniques - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care - Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner or similar systems Requirements: - Degree in Chiropody or Podiatry from an accredited institution - State licensure to practice as a Chiropodist - Experience in patient care and foot assessment - Proficiency in data collection and medical record keeping - Knowledge of pain management techniques - Familiarity with medication administration related to foot conditions - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and interaction This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Chiropodist to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while advancing their career in the field of podiatric medicine.
