Our role is to help motivate Canadians to get moving and help them achieve their wellness goals.Job Description As a Back of House Lead at Sport Chek, your positive attitude will help customers and employees of the store. You will ensure all inbound and outbound inventory is tracked correctly and that the product is priced, replenished and neatly organized in the backroom and on the sales floor. You will oversee the execution of processing inbound/outbound inventory, replenishment, and inventory accuracy. Be an expert of operations, accuracy, process and efficiency for merchandise movement.Key ResponsibilitiesScan all incoming shipments and transfers, maintain shipping logs, and file all paperwork according to audit requirementsSupport the management team by providing leadership to part-time team members in the execution of tasks and store standardsSupport in-store eCommerce order fulfillment through processing of orders and executing courier transactions as per company policiesComplete transfers, consolidations and debits while maintaining inventory integrity and stockroom organization Support on general store maintenance and presentation including inventory replenishment, maintenance of store fixtures and floor layouts, seasonal changeovers, restocking and pricing/ signing changesRequired Skills and Knowledge6+ months of previous retail experiencePrevious experience training and mentoring employeesProven ability to build and manage a daily plan for the department and store Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy containers (up to 50lbs)Computer literacy is an assetPassion for your activities and a drive to inspire others to be activeEducational LevelHigh school education or current enrollment in high schoolExperience LevelIntermediateCompensationWe are offering a competitive comp package that includes training and development, flexible work hours, benefits, product discounts, and much more!Hiring OrganizationSport ChekJob Location Requirements On-locationFind what moves youSport Chek is an equal opportunity employer.
