Position Summary: Mindfield invites motivated and engaging individuals to join our team as a Shift Leader. In this essential role, you'll be a key touchpoint for customers, playing a crucial part in ensuring a seamless and positive shopping experience. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about customer service and have a keen interest in leading teams within a dynamic retail environment.Key Responsibilities:Act as a shift-leading keyholder, including opening and closing responsibilities and managing on-duty responsibilities.Communicate effectively with customers, providing product knowledge and assistance.Work Balance customer service with other in-store tasks.Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store goals.Ideal Candidate:Possesses a minimum of 6 months of informal leadership experience (e.g., team roles, coaching, mentoring).Volunteer experience is an asset.Strong initiative and process-driven mindset.Exceptional attention to detail.Skills Required:Has at least 6 months of retail experience.Comfortable with physical activities such as lifting (at least 25 lbs), bending, and using ladders.High school education, either ongoing or completed.Must be 18 or older to complete a criminal background check.
