Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Chicken farming. Organic farming. Dusty. Odours. Poultry and egg production. Tasks: Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Feed and tend animals. Maintain quality control and production records. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
