Tasks

  • Operate video recording equipment
  • Adjust focus, exposure, lighting and other camera settings
  • Determine filming sequences, camera movements and picture composition
  • Label and record contents of exposed film
  • Test, maintain and store equipment
  • Operate various computer-controlled studio systems to perform colour separation, retouching and editing that allow changes to be made to a colour negative for printing purposes
  • Set up, prepare, operate and adjust audio, recording, editing and reproducing equipment to record, edit and reproduce sound input
