*Location:* Silver Lake Resources Camp, White Rover, Ontario
*Job Overview: *
The Camp Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the camp(s). They provide support to the Operations Manager, Subcontractors, and the Client while providing additional support to other applicable departments as required. The Camp Manager is also responsible for following up and attending to issues that occur at the camp and/or kitchen. The main role of the Camp Manager is to manage the Camp's daily activities while providing quality customer service when addressing requests and concerns.
*Responsibilities and Duties: *
* Manage the day-to-day activities of an assigned camp.
* Uphold health and safety standards and protocols within the camp.
* Assist with camp and travel request bookings.
* Meet with Clients and provide quality customer service by addressing their requests and concerns promptly and effectively.
* Manage staff scheduling and meetings as required.
* Inspect, evaluate, and ensure camp cleanliness, food quality, presentation, and control inventory.
* Prepare and submit audit reports.
* Track occupancy, staffing, and monitor expenses when required.
* Perform administrative and management tasks which include liaisons with the Client, managing room bookings, and preparing reports.
* Liaise between the Client, Morris Group, and Subcontractors regarding the day-to-day activities of the camp.
* Attend and manage urgencies and/or issues in the camp and/or the kitchen as required.
* Contact assistance for maintenance problems when necessary.
* Perform other duties as required.
*Education/ Qualifications: *
* Degree or diploma in Business Administration or relevant field an asset.
* Camp, hotel, or restaurant management experience is an asset.
* Knowledge of kitchen operations is an asset.
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
* Advanced Food Safety certification and First Aid certification are assets.
* Working knowledge of MS Office.
* Must hold a Valid G license or equivalent and provide a clean driver?s abstract. Must be comfortable driving a full-size pickup truck on unmaintained roads, in poor weather conditions and at night.
* Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points ? Food Safety) an asset
* Knowledge of Ontario OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety), as well as ESA (Employment Standards Act), is an asset.
