Overview: We are seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join our team. As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing upholstery for various furniture pieces. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various hand tools and machinery. Responsibilities: - Fabricate and install upholstery for furniture pieces - Measure, cut, and sew fabric to fit furniture frames - Attach padding and springs to furniture frames - Operate machinery such as sewing machines, and other upholstery equipment - Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy - Collaborate with team members to meet production goals - Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements: - Previous experience as an Upholsterer or similar role - Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques and materials - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks - Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, staple guns, and scissors - Mechanical knowledge to operate machinery safely and efficiently - Attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Excellent problem-solving skills We offer competitive pay based on experience.
