HR Administrator
Restaurant Vision: Serve great food and care while supporting our community.
Role Vision: To serve as the leader of HR and Administrative services to the team. This position will also be a key partner with the Owner/Operator to ensure all back office systems are completed and maintained as assigned.
The HR Administrator is responsible for, but not limited to:
· Complete weekly schedule in a timely manner and to daily/weekly labour goals.
· Complete payroll every two weeks. Correct/update time punches throughout the week to enable proper tracking of labour.
· Manage selection, grading, and recruiting process to hire top talent.
· Work with Operator and ensure hiring goals are achieved weekly, monthly, quarterly.
· Organizes & Maintains all Team Member HR Files, including Write Ups and Documentation.
· Scheduling and conducting initial interviews for all new applicants.
· Manage on-boarding and orientation for all new hires in Ceridian Payroll System.
· Plan for future hiring targets and on-boarding processes for Team Members.
· Monitor and plan for growth through EOI applications from Team Members and organize interviews as necessary.
· Plan training courses for all Team Members on CFA Pathway as required.
· Provide feedback using the E.S.R.M Model.
· Compliance Audits of HR documents & Wage Rates.
· Prepares for Weekly Meetings and One-On-Ones.
· Audit First Aid Certification, Food Safety Handlers and Safety Awareness Training.
· Audits & reconciles all training shifts to training notes regarding the Trainee?s performance.
· Oversee uniform orders, and all other administrative items.
· Input, track, and pay all supplier invoices and proper documentation into expense platform.
· Reconcile any 3rd Party reports for weekly tracking.
· Meets all behaviours of a Team Member, working in the restaurant as needed.
· Comply with and follow the policies stipulated in the Handbook.
· Leads the language and behaviours of hospitality.
· Utilizes required forms of software, technology, and communication apps.
· Ensures breaks are in compliance with applicable law.
· Manages & tracks all Vacation and Leave Balances.
The HR/Admin Supervisor should:
· Be willing and able to serve in all areas of the business if called upon.
· Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with 10-15 hours being in operations helping to serve guests.
· Be goal-oriented and organized.
· Allocate necessary time each week to administrative tasks, planning, or operations.
· Combine critical thinking and practical leadership to lead this area enthusiastically and passionately.
· Effectively coach and give direction.
· Have high standards of operational excellence and show attention to detail.
