Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions. Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management and service delivery. Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Website. Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware. Create and optimize content for Website using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software. Develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches. Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products. Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle. Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity. Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls. Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality. Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Ability to distinguish between colours.
