Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Clean the crops. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Hand harvesting vegetables. Marking livestock as proof of ownership. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Track and report on current feed inventory . Harvest crops. Feed and tend animals. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Select livestock for sale. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Perform general farm duties. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Sitting. Walking. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers .
