Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Assist in product development and direct and evaluate the marketing strategies of establishments. Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that maintain media relations on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations. Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products and services. Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies. Answer written and oral inquiries. Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions. Develop and organize workshops, meetings, ceremonies and other events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes. Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies and programs.
