Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Plan, develop, implement and evaluate human resources policies and programs. Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs and collective agreements. Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions and salary scales. Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs. Manage training and development strategies. Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes. Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers. Recruit and hire staff. Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury. Computer and technology knowledge: Human resources software. MS Excel. MS PowerPoint. MS Word. Information technology. Electronic mail. Internet. Accounting software. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.- LocationBrampton, ON
