Engineering and science - - Your opportunity: Sidel is looking for an automation field technician who will perform the installation, start-up, commissioning and testing of the Sidel equipment supplied to customer sites. The candidate must perform technical assistance during and after the warranty period, conduct training and other after-sales services of Sidel equipment installed on customer sites. Develop a good understanding of customer needs to provide objective advice and ensure customer satisfaction. Your mission: Test and evaluate the performance of equipment in the customer?s factory, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications; Properly handle, verify and transfer equipment non-conformities; Prepare a progress table of work and technical reports with reference to activities conducted; Ensure the ultimate satisfaction of internal and external clients; Perform activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel Coordination Plan Rules and Client Rules; Report sales opportunities detected on the customer site; Perform technical, troubleshooting and reporting activities; Report site team activities to the facility site manager; Follow and follow quality procedures according to Sidel standards; Improve the development and maintenance of the Installation and Commissioning service; Suggest improvements for the development of electrical and mechanical products; Ensure that deadlines are met for each phase of a project in which they are involved. *You must be interested, available and authorized to travel frequently to the United States and hold a valid passport. Your profile: Hold a DEC in electromechanical or industrial maintenance; At least 3 years of practical experience in electromechanical, electrical and automation or in a similar position; Specialized in automation (essential) Technical expertise in automation (B&R, Siemens, Elau and AB) electrical or aseptic; Knowledge of reading electrical, mechanical and pneumatic plans and knowledge of Autocad software; Knowledge of computer tools (Ms Office, ?); Good analytical mind, curious, likes troubleshooting; Ability to communicate and work in teams and with clients Strong technical knowledge of electricity/automation; Experience in the beverage industry; Have the ability to travel up to 90% (including international destinations); Bilingual written and spoken: French/ English.
