Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Instruct apprentices. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Help medical examiner in charge. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Pave and rake asphalt. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints. Security and safety: Bondable. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Manual dexterity. Handling heavy loads. Overtime required. Sound discrimination.
