Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Train and supervise staff. Develop promotional materials. Hire, train, direct and motivate staff. Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs. Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products and services. Act as spokesperson for an organization. Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material. Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions. Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Area of specialization: Marketing. Sales.
