*JOB SUMMARY* Leitner-Poma Canada, Inc. is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Electrical Apprentice to assist in the installation of new electrical equipment as well as modifying & upgrading existing installations on new and existing projects in Canada. This role will be responsible for assisting with troubleshooting various challenges & problems on these projects. This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $25.96-$31.25 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications. *ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES* · Assist in installation of electrical portion of Chair Lift Projects in Canada. · Must have the ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. · Work in a professional tradesman-like manner and ensure that trade best practices is followed. · Adhere to all safety guidelines while completing each project efficiently. · Communicate between other departments within the company and to customers on electrical project issues. · Performs other duties as assigned. *BASIC QUALIFICATIONS* · High school diploma/GED/CAEC equivalent. · Current enrollment in an accredited electrical apprenticeship. · Ability to work at high altitudes & severe environmental conditions such as extreme heat & cold. · Valid driver's license with the ability to travel at least 50% of the time. · Proficient in the English Language. · Authorized to work in Canada. *DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS* · Previous electrical experience in the ski lift industry. *Equal Employment Opportunity Policy* Leitner-Poma Canada, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by law.
