This is supported by a recognition that no learning community is whole without the inclusion and amplification of multiple voices; UCC is committed to fostering belonging, striving for justice and peace among all people, and addressing systemic and structural forms of oppression.<p>Position Overview:<p>The Director of Wellbeing and Pluralism provides leadership, direction and support for the development and delivery of transformational wellbeing and pluralism programming and learning across the College. The Director oversees Wellbeing and Pluralism leads in the Prep and Upper Schools and collaborates closely with the academic program leaders and school-based leadership teams, teachers and advisers with principal focus on realizing the student-facing objectives of the Colleges wellbeing and pluralism strategies. This whole school role provides the leadership to build our communitys understanding of wellbeing and pluralism and to engage all constituents in the development and delivery of exemplary continuum of learning that encourages the physical, cognitive and social-emotional wellbeing of students SK-Year 12 and fosters a culture of inclusion, wellbeing and belonging. <p>The Director supports the Colleges progress towards goals set in its pluralism and wellbeing action plans, serving as a resource for and collaborator with colleagues leading that work both within and outside the areas of curriculum and student support, thereby contributing to an approach to wellbeing and pluralism that is aligned across the organization and ensuring efforts are well coordinated and mutually supportive. This role also represents the College and its wellbeing and pluralism work with external organizations and networks. The Director collaborates to ensure that all aspects of student wellbeing and pluralism programming are aligned with UCCs vision, mission, values and strategic directions, current research and best practice, as well as the standards of our external accrediting bodies (CAIS, IB and ON Ministry of Education) and relevant legislation. The Director is a member of the extended Program Senior Leadership Team (PSLT). Key Responsibilities:<p>Curriculum Development and Student Programming <p> Work closely and collaboratively with the Academic Dean, Head of the Prep and Head of Upper School to set annual goals and to ensure strategic and operational goals and direction of student wellbeing and pluralism programming align with the overall strategic operational goals of the College, including the established direction of wellbeing and pluralism; <p> Guided by the Colleges wellbeing framework and action plan, working with Prep and Upper Wellbeing leads, in collaboration with the academic and school-based leadership teams and engaging outside subject-matter expertise as appropriate, lead the development of student wellbeing programming, including the development of a wellbeing scope and sequence and relevant pedagogies; <p> Guided by the Colleges pluralism objectives and action plan, working with Prep and Upper Pluralism leads, in collaboration with the academic and school-based leadership teams and engaging outside subject-matter expertise as appropriate, support the development of culturally responsive and relevant pedagogy and a curriculum that addresses anti-oppression issues; <p> Energize and support faculty and s
