We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative Assistant to join our team. As an administrative assistant, you will be responsible for following duties. * Greet Visitors as they arrive * Answer phone calls and email queries and relay messages to appropriate staff * Schedule appointments with the Optometrist * Send confirmation emails and reminder emails for the appointments using the company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software * Complete patient forms and document case histories * Complete insurance and other claim forms and coordinate them with insurance companies * Create and maintain confidential medical files and records * Enter patient data and correspondence in MS-Excel and OneDrive * Create and send invoices to insurance companies * Schedule daily tasks and routines for daily client intakes * Other administrative duties as assigned Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * On call * Overtime * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * Are you available for shift or on-call work? * Are you currently legally able to work in Canada? * Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location? * Do you have previous experience in this field of employment? * What is the highest level of study you have completed?
