Join The Upper Canada District School Board <p> Creating Futures, Leading and Learning for All <p> UCDSB is currently hiring an Elementary Long Term Occasional Teacher <p> Details of Assignment: 0.8 FTE<p> FR - Grade K-2 Elementary LTO positions are filled with the FTE as posted.<p> Click here to view the UCDSB Map.<p> Click here to view the Family of Schools List. <p> Qualifications: Must have OCT in Good Standing. <p> Required Qualifications in Primary and FSL. Application: <p> Applicants can apply to any position that is of interest to them (i.e. LTO or Permanent vacancy) without first having to be on our Occasional Teacher lists. Please apply to any vacancy that is of interest to you so that you are considered for each. <p> Your completed application on Apply to Education must include the following in order to be properly considered for this vacancy: Cover Letter<p> Resume<p> Updated Applicant Profile including OCT number and contact information (ex: phone number, address, etc). <p> Completed responses to all job related questions You may also wish to attach relevant diplomas, certifications, reference letters, etc. relevant to your application. <p> References: <p> UCDSB requires your current and two most recent direct supervisors.<p> If your experience is in a day-to-day occasional capacity ensure that you list the length of time that you worked for that Supervisor and whether the assignment was casual day-to-day or in a long-term occasional capacity.<p> Placement Teacher References: If providing a Placement Teacher as a reference, The UCDSB will require confirmation and approval from the Principal at the Placement School that the deferred reference (Placement Teacher) is approved to provide reference on behalf of the Principal.<p> The UCDSB does not accept colleagues or personal references. <p> Selection Process: <p> Positions are filled in accordance with the UCDSB/ETFO-OT Collective Agreement and/or PPM 165 where applicable.<p> The UCDSB selection process includes a review of required qualifications, interview and assessment process, and reference checks. All employment offers are conditional on candidates providing a valid Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Screening.
