Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Tasks: Direct rig crew in setting up rigs and drilling, completing or servicing oil and gas exploration and producing wells. Ensure safety procedures are followed. Maintain records of drilling and servicing operations. Operate controls of drill or service rig drilling and hoisting machinery. Train or arrange for training of crew.
