Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Offshore drilling rig. Tasks: Operate and maintain drilling mud systems and pumps. Operate hydraulic pumping systems. Operate and maintain drilling rig diesel motors, transmissions and other mechanical equipment. Read gauges to interpret conditions and adjust pumping procedure. Assist in setting up, taking down and transporting drilling and service rigs. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
