Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements. Prepare and post notices and advertisements. Collect and screen applicants. Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews. Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates. Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures. Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training. Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties. Computer and technology knowledge: Database software. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
