Digital Technology and Media - - Kontron Canada is looking for a passionate Network and System Administrator who will work on the company IT systems and networks. The responsibilities will include both the management and server maintenance, in hybrid Windows and Linux servers. In addition, the person will provide Level 3 technical assistance to network users. You will manage, optimize performance and ensure the maintenance of availability of the company servers; ? You will be the primary resource for internal and external network (configuration and support); ? You will actively participate in the management of firewalls; ? You will identify and solve problems on all equipment while documenting change management; ? You will manage and ensure the availability of the company's SANs systems; ? You will participate in various IT projects both at the site level and with our various partners; ? You will ensure and maintain data security and access management; ? You will contribute to knowledge sharing by writing articles in a knowledge base and documentation system; ? You will participate in the implementation of the various technologies and systems in the company; ? You will provide on-call support 24x7 if required; ? You will be a reference and mentor for the IT support team and provide level 3 technical assistance to users. YOU WILL IMPRESS US IF YOU HAVE: ? Education: College or university diploma in computer science; ? Experience: Ideally a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; ? Knowledge: Expert in Windows Server 2003 to 2019 systems; very good knowledge of Cisco equipment and network management; very good knowledge of TCP / IP communication protocols; good knowledge of Linux, good knowledge of VMware and storage systems; knowledge of security systems and software, backup and replication system, IP telephony, PowerShell; ? Profile: Good judgment, concern for the job well done, spirit of service, courtesy, good presentation, dynamism, team spirit; ?
