Be part of a technology company committed to the 4th industrial revolution5. work for the world leader in tire manufacturingReporting to the Shop Manager, the incumbent plans, organizes and supervises the work of the employees under his responsibility, ensures compliance with health and safety standards, quality control and productivity in addition to ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of the shop equipment, all in order to achieve the plant's objectives. More specifically, he/she must:Inform and mobilize employees on topics related to occupational health and safety, inspect workplaces and ensure compliance with OHS work methods;Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, quality control and productivity;Plan and supervise the work of the employees in the workshop and assist them as needed;Transfer relevant information to the previous or next team to ensure continuity in operations;Write production reports;Apply the collective agreement, directives and internal procedures;Follow up on the files of the employees under his/her responsibility and evaluate them;See to the training and integration of new employees;Follow up on procedures and work methods with employees;Participate in various committees and meetings.Competency Profile :High school diploma (HSD) OR Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) required;Experience in supervising personnel in a manufacturing environment or equivalent;Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset;Communication and mobilization skills;Good knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel and Outlook);Good knowledge of oral and written French;Knowledge of English is an asset.This is a full-time permanent position, average of 42 hours/week (36/48 hours weeks), 14 days worked per month.
