Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry. or equivalent experience. Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination. Experience: 5 years or more. Additional Skills: Plan and control budget and expenditures. Hire, train, direct and motivate staff. Work Setting: Specialty hospital and acute care hospital. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Specialization in Clinical Medicine: Diagnostic radiology. Specific Skills: Establish and implement policies and procedures for delivery of health care services. Consult with boards of directors, senior managers and government officials. Co-ordinate work of doctors, nurses and other staff. Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs. Develop evaluation systems to monitor health care services. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Security and Safety: Bondable. Medical exam. Immunization records.
