Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Address customers' complaints or concerns. Professionalism in customer service. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Maintenance and repair reports. Trip reports. Type of trucking and equipment: Roll-off truck. Dump truck. Type of heavy equipment operated: Gravel or dump truck. Communication systems experience: Citizens band (CB) radio. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Drive manual transmission vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Overtime required. Repetitive tasks. Sitting. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone. Hard hat. Steel-toed safety boots. Safety vest. Gloves. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Judgement. Organized.
