Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare services to patients. This position is based in a independent pharmacy and requires strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration. Responsibilities: - Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients - Accurately measure medication quantities and package them appropriately - Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and labeling - Perform data entry tasks, including patient information and prescription details - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication orders - Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their questions and concerns - Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Experience: - Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred - Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring medications - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously If you're seeking to expand your expertise by contributing to the development of an independent pharmacy and its community, we encourage you to submit your application today.
